Santa Maria si trova alle porte di San Venanzo, in provincia di Terni.
Un francese Daniel Boutet, un'italiana Rosaria Iacovino con Emanuel e
Francesco,viviamo in questo piccolo paradiso incontaminato tra boschi di
querce e torrenti,nel cuore della verde Umbria.
Tutti e quattro ci ritroviamo ognuno con le sue mansioni a gestire
l’Agriturismo Santa Maria che si chiama così proprio per Maria che ha
provocato tutto questo ,nonostante le nostre “differenze “colture culture e
caratteri siamo qui insieme.
Tutto ciò non dipende da noi o molto poco , è però sicuramente per voi.
Ai nostri ospiti offriamo cordialità, disponibilità e un ambiente
accogliente e familiare in cui l'amicizia viene prima di tutto.
L'azienda certificata dall' A.I.A.B. con due margherite, si estende su una
superficie di 50 ettari costituiti da seminativo di cereali, avena, orzo, e
grano duro , bosco protetto di querce e ginepri, e secolare uliveto
biologico.
Le tecniche di coltivazione sono quelle tradizionali; non vengono impiegati
concimi o pesticidi dannosi per l'uomo e per l'ambiente.
Nei periodi stagionali si raccolgono fragole, funghi, asparagi selvatici,
tartufi e cicoria.
La proprietà è attraversata dal torrente Faena e lungo i sentieri sono
presenti chiesette rupestri.
Nella proprietà c'è anche un allevamento di cavalli maremmani selezionati,
ed una piscina 16 * 7 mt. ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti.
Il casale "Cerreto", è stato ristrutturato con gusto senza nulla togliere al
fascino della struttura originale, mappe amanuensi conservate nel Monastero
di San Pietro ne testimoniano la presenza già dal 1600. L'ampia sala
polivalente, con il grande ed accogliente camino rustico, può ospitare
gruppi, feste, conferenze e riunioni di vario tipo. Già da alcuni mesi qui
si svolgono corsi di pittura, iconografia e composizioni floreali. Inoltre
il casale può essere prenotato anche interamente. Gli Appartamenti sono
indipendenti e spaziosi; possono ospitare dalle due alle sei persone
ciascuno, con la possibilità di aggiungere posti letto per bambini.
Dispongono di cucine attrezzate e bagni con doccia e sono tutti arredati con
gusto ed provvisti di ogni confort: televisore,riscaldamento.

Il casale "Cerreto Alto" antica costruzione che risale al 1700, interamente
ristrutturato, è collocato in cima ad una collina da dove è possibile
ammirare uno stupendo panorama a 360°.
Inoltre il casale può essere prenotato anche interamente. Gli Appartamenti
sono indipendenti e spaziosi; possono ospitare dalle quattro alle sei
persone ciascuno, con la possibilità di aggiungere posti letto per bambini.

The farmholiday Santa
Maria lies in the neighbourhood of San Venanzo, between the historical towns
of Orvieto, Todi and Perugia.
A French man Daniel Boutet, an Italian woman Rosaria Iacovino with their
children Emanuel and Francesco , live in this little uncontaminated paradise
among oak trees and torrents in the green heart of Italy-Umbria.
We offer our guests cordiality,help in finding their way around Umbria and a
cosy family atmosphere where friendship comes above everything else.
Having a special child ourselves our farmhouse has all the facilities for
handicapped children and adults and all are most welcome. The Santa Maria
Farm is surrounded by secular oak trees and junipers forest. It comprises 50
hectares of land divided between biological olive groves and arable land,
where cereals such as, oats barley and durum ,wheat are cultivated and
certified by the with two daisies. Traditional farming methods are used
involving no dangerous pesticides or chemical fertilisers. In the seasonal
periods while walking around on the small paths you can pick strawberries,
mushrooms, wild asparagus,truffles and chicory and find the Faena torrent
that runs across the property or little tiny country churches made of stone.
This wonderful peaceful atmosphere invites you to admire our 8 magnificent
maremma horses, explore by foot, mountain bike or horseback and enjoy our 7
x 16 mt. swimming pool. The Santa Maria Farm has two farmhouses - Cerreto
Alto and Cerreto.
The farmhouse "Cerreto",is entirely in stone and according to amanuensi maps
in the Monastry of Saint Peter, dates back to the 17th century. It is
situated on a hill overlooking a splendid and quiet valley between two
medieval villages. This farmhouse has a spacious multiple use hall, with an
imposing rustic fireplace which may be used for groups, it is adaptable for
conferences, parties and meetings. This hall is already used from time to
time for flower arranging courses using dried flowers and materials gathered
in the fields. There is even a little meditation nook naturally built in the
rock. On request the entire farmhouse of 740 mq.can be booked.
Here there are Six separate apartments that each have a terrace created in
such a way as to allow total independence and privacy. The spacious
apartments are furnished in good taste. and and have 1,2 or three bedrooms
each with its own bathroom. The rustic country-style kitchens are fully
equipped. The apartments take their names from the surrounding medieval
villages.
The farmhouse "Cerreto Alto" restructured 18 th century farmhouse 1700, is
set on a hilltop where it is possible to admire a spectacular panorama of
350 degrees..
It has been carefully restored , respecting old architectual traditions and
has four charming and beautifully furnished apartments.
On request the entire farmhouse of 370mq. can be booked to ensure privacy
and total independence.
The apartments are spacious and comfortably equipped with heating and hot
water , kitchen with fireplace ,dining area complete with crockery, cutlery,
glassware, and cooking utensils, gas stove and fridge. There is a complete
change of bed linen and towels and cleaning of the apartment weekly. On
request we provide daily cleaning and a cook. The apartments each have two
bedrooms and a bathroom, a kitchen and a spacious eating and living area
with a fireplace.
There are two apartments on the ground floor and two apartments on the first
floor. The apartments take their names from the surrounding medieval
